Delicacies from the different regions in the Philippines are brought in and sold fresh. Home cooked meals from the kitchens of nearby residents are always in abundance while international chefs with their own stalls offer something different to those who are always willing to try something new. The Salcedo Market is a mecca for those who love to eat and appreciate good food.

Aside from the food though, there are other things to be found in the market. Sellers of different organic products are scattered around the area. Organic items that are available range from vegetables to household cleaning items, personal hygiene products to teas and massage oils. The owners of the stalls are usually around to talk to people to patiently explain and have people try these unique products.
