Finally, a one-stop weekend market for urban consumers.

Pinoy Organics and Mercato Centrale are officially launching the Producers Market on April 30th. If you live in Bonifacio Global City, lucky you! If you are from Makati, Pasig or Alabang, don’t miss the date!

Pinoy Organics Public Invite

The Producers Market is the first and only air-conditioned weekend market that offers one of the most diverse selection of organic, natural, herbal and healthy products, including fresh produce from local organic farms.

Except for La Top’s organic produce from Benguet and Down-to-Earth‘s specialty greens from Bukidnon, the vegetables and fruits sold in the Producers Market are sourced from nearby farms located in Rizal, Bulacan, Cavite, Batangas and Laguna. Consumers are guaranteed freshly picked farm products harvested just a day before they are sold in the market.

Producers Market is also a depot of personal and household green products. Below is a partial list of the green brands available inside the market during the launch:

I would love to go and support but also have a big event that day (we’re launching Estela, our new online home and fashion shop– if you’re not too tired after the Producers Market, would love for you to drop by– Libis is so near Fort!).

Will support the market for sure though– BIG THANK YOU HUGS for what you’re doing!

Congratulations to you, too! 😉 Exciting season.

    Hi,

I’m just thinking out loud. As a consumer, How do you know that the produce that are sold in the market or grocery is real organic as what they claim to be? Aside from the price that is higher than the regular price. (It’s okay to spend such price just as long as it is true.) There are no certifications available. Some say that the produce is not as nice as the chemically treated, but the cabbage i bought at the grocery looks so nice and they claimed it as organic. Is there an indication or way to know?
I hope you can enlighten me.

    Thanks,
    liz

Thanks for your sharing your thoughts, Liz. We are in the process of organizing seminar for consumer about this. Will post it in the events page soon. 🙂

For now, we’ll share with you our own personal way of verifying the organic produce/products we buy: know your producers and build a relationship with them! It is only when you know them so well that you can (more or less) know if they’re the real deal or not. We also go out of our way to visit farms. The results of all those efforts are what we share to our fellow consumers here in Pinoy Organics.
